Board Composition

Many hands make light work and this is particularly true in an endeavour as large as hosting an international square dance festival. For now, the Festival is being organized by a Steering Committee; however, it is our plan to have a Board in place by January 2010 - not very far away! The chart below shows where we need people to volunteer for the Board. How can you help us to continue to move ahead on this great event?

We will also need volunteers to help on various committees. For details of what is involved in each of the Board positions and Committees, please refer to the Committee Duties 2014 document.

When you discover an area in which you think you can help, let me (Wendy VanderMeulen, 613-987-2711 or wendyv@sympatico.ca) know and I’ll be in touch to get you started. Your help does not need to be at a Group Chair or Committee Leader level. Wherever it is that you see yourself fitting into the picture, we will be very excited to hear from you.

Group Chairs and Committee Leaders may be an individual or a couple. Group Chairs and Committee Leaders must be registered for the Festival.
